We created Hog Academy with the goal of developing elite offensive linemen, while utilizing the skills and lessons we learned along our journey that we wish we had known sooner. It’s no secret, there is an abundance of football talent in, and around, central Virginia. By providing proper training, we will equip our athletes with the knowledge and skills necessary to gain a competitive edge in the trenches.
Football brought us together at an early age and has been at the core of our friendship ever since. It didn’t take us long to figure out football was our passion and something we wanted to pursue in college and beyond. Through countless hours of hard work, we were both fortunate to be able to follow our dreams and play Division I football. After having successful careers at our respective universities, we began focusing on our future and training for the NFL. To our surprise, we found there were no offensive line trainers in Virginia, which made our pre-draft process exceptionally difficult. Although the NFL didn’t work out for us, we uncovered a huge need for professional offensive line training in Virginia. We firmly believe our lessons-learned will afford younger athletes the ability to uncover their full potential as an offensive lineman.
Our training consists of both technical, position-specific instruction, and functional coaching, which teaches our athletes about taking the necessary precautions to remain healthy and injury-free. Throughout our college careers, we received top-of-the-line coaching from some of the most respected offensive line coaches in all of college football. We have harnessed that coaching and established a premier offensive line training program right here in central Virginia. We are passionate about developing each athlete we have the opportunity to coach and look forward to working with you.
